Class Descriptions

At Studio One, we offer a variety of classes for your practice. Each of the teachers offer their own unique style and flavor, but these descriptions will offer you the foundational information for each of the class types.

Vinyasa Yoga

A breath-centered flow linking movement and awareness. This dynamic class builds strength, mobility, and endurance through thoughtfully sequenced transitions. Expect a steady pace, creative sequencing, and opportunities to explore balance and arm variations. Suitable for all levels with options provided.

Yoga Drills

Build core and upper body strength, balance, and mobility to support your vinyasa practice. We’ll explore jump throughs, jump backs, arm balances, handstands, and other inversions, alongside calisthenics-style drills to develop control and resilience. A strong, skill-focused class designed to help you progress safely and confidently.

Hatha Strong

A slower-paced, strength-forward class that blends traditional yoga postures with focused strength drills and mindful transitions. Expect longer holds, intentional alignment work, and controlled flows that build stability, mobility, and full-body resilience.

Asana + Meditation

A balanced practice that begins with mindful movement and transitions into a short guided meditation to finish class. We’ll explore steady postures and flow to prepare the body before settling into breathwork and seated meditation. Ideal for those looking to deepen awareness and cultivate inner stillness.

Vin Yin

The best of both worlds. This class begins with a moderate-paced vinyasa flow to build heat and strength, followed by longer-held yin postures to release tension and improve mobility. Expect both effort and ease - movement and surrender.

Restorative Yoga

A deeply nourishing, slow-paced practice designed to support nervous system regulation and recovery. Using props for full support, poses are held for extended periods to encourage relaxation and gentle release. Ideal for stress relief, recovery, and grounding.

Gentle Flow

A slower, accessible flow designed to build mobility and confidence without intensity. Expect simple transitions, mindful pacing, and supportive instruction. Perfect for beginners, those returning to practice, or anyone seeking a steadier, more easeful class.
